Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea

My favorites include Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and the newest release,
"Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea." This is the English translation of the original Japanese title "Gake no Ue no Ponyo,"
which literally means "Ponyo on a Cliff." But, I'm guessing it was changed for clarity, for obvious reasons.
Ponyo was just cute. Uber cute.
I have never been so smitten with a movie before--I even bought the soundtrack and a pin as sourveniers, and I never buy souveniers.
It comes close to beating even Totoro in its cuteness--I'm sure you've heard that infectious song playing on the radio or on TV.
I would definitely see the movie again.
Hayao Miyazaki really did it this time. The character of Ponyo is very simple artistically, but instantly captivates you.
I won't spoil the story for you, but apparently, from what I could gather, Ponyo is a 5 year-old goldfish princess who wants to be a human.
Although she looks like nothing even vaguely resembling a goldfish.
And her father, who used to be a human himself, strongly opposes.
Sounds reminiscent to a certain Disney classic, huh?
